The“I’ll Do It Tomorrow” Club
I think the busiest day in the world is tomorrow.
Everyone joins the same club.
“I’ll start exercising tomorrow.”
“I’ll organise my room tomorrow.”
“I’ll read that book tomorrow.”
“I’ll call my parents tomorrow.”
“I’ll finally take a break tomorrow.”
Tomorrow has an incredibly full schedule.
The funny thing is…
Tomorrow keeps arriving.
But somehow, the club meeting never happens.
Maybe the problem isn’t that we’re lazy.
Maybe “tomorrow” is simply a very comfortable place to hide the things that matter but feel difficult today.
Dreams don’t usually disappear overnight.
They quietly become “one day.”
And then “when things settle down.”
And before we notice…
they’ve been waiting longer than we have.
So here’s a tiny reminder from today’s Lemon Corner:
If it only takes five minutes,
perhaps today is already a good enough day.
Not everything has to begin on a Monday.
Or a new month.
Or New Year’s Day.
Sometimes, the smallest beginning is simply deciding that tomorrow has worked enough overtime.
